STATUS NOTE

In this historical 2025 record, KPX reported mainland solar market-trade volume rising from 1,113.115087 MWh in the 10:00–11:00 KST interval to 1,598.729405 MWh in the 12:00–13:00 interval; mainland wind rose from 318.453698 to 422.906066 MWh. Dividing each one-hour energy volume by one hour gives the MW averages shown below. These are market-participant trades, not total physical generation or a forecast.

Operating safety is not assessed without verified response capacity and constraints.

Limits of this issue

  • Historical 2025 annual CSV published in April 2026; this is a retrospective observation, not live 2026 operating data.
  • KPX publishes traded energy in MWh by hour-ending 01–24. A one-hour MWh volume is displayed as average MW. The solar series sums 16 mainland province rows; wind is the released mainland aggregate.
  • Market-participant trades exclude KEPCO direct/PPA and self-use generation. Values can change through settlement and include ESS charge/discharge effects. They are not total physical output.
  • No comparable demand, published forecast vintage, calibrated uncertainty, network constraint, or verified response capacity is included. Net load and operating safety are not assessed.
